Anchorage, Kentucky

Anchorage, Kentucky is a city with an area of 3 miles that makes you want to walk around in circles so you never have to leave. Once known as Hite’s Mill, Anchorage was founded around 1773. The town is one of the wealthiest in Kentucky, with residents such as singer, Joan Osborne and John Schnatter, founder of Papa John’s Pizza and owner of 6% of the land in Anchorage. The town has many country estates, and maintains a beautiful landscape. The community of Anchorage stays involved and it is ideal for families and building homes that will be passed down.
