Louisville's Free Summer Entertainment

Summer is a time to enjoy longer days and enjoy the simple things in life. All this free time leaves many wondering how they should fill it. Without breaking the bank, there are several options in Louisville that are offering free entertainment!

To start, Cherokee Triangle offers their Summer Concert Series on Sunday evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm, featuring acts such as King Sonic, Joe DeBow and Blair Carmen & the Bellevue Boys. If you're planning on heading across the river to Jeffersonville, check out Jeffersonville Riverstage which features a concert on Friday evenings at 7:00 pm, as well as free fitness classes, Monday through Saturday, and a Twilight Cinema series which has showings of child-friendly movies.
Additional music options include Music on the Terrace concert series at The Summit Shopping Center, Jeffersonville Main Street Concerts in the Park and Hot Country Nights at Fourth Street Live. If you're looking for something a little different, consider attending Kentucky Shakespeare's presentation of Much Ado About Nothing, running from July 12-29 at Central Park in Old Louisville.
