2012 Tuxes & Tails Benefit Auction and Gala

On August 18th, The Kentucky Humane Society will hold their annual event at the Marriott Louisville Downtown. This benefit auction and gala is creatively named "Tuxes and Tails" and is sponsored by Brown-Forman. "Starry Night" is the theme this year and is sure to be a fabulous event! 

The Kentucky Humane Society holds the event to praise pets and the people who love them and is Louisville's premiere evening to celebrate this bond. Guests will enjoy dinner, dancing, a live and silent auctions, and adorable adoptable pets! Tuxes and Tails' signature Live and Silent Auctions are provided by generous private and corporate donors and include over 275 packages. Previous auction items have included luxury beach getaways, a trip-of-a-lifetime to the 2012 Masters Golf Tournament and a halter worn by 2011 Kentucky Derby winner, Animal Kingdom.

Last year Tuxes and Tails raised over $175,000 for animals in need. These funds help grow and sustain the Kentucky Humane Society's life-saving mission programs that help thosands of pets in need each year. The money that is raised goes toward proactive programs such as adoptions, education, and spay/neuter initiatives.
