Cherokee Park Louisville's Secret Garden

Cherokee Park in Louisville, Kentucky has always been a part of my life. I remember my dad and I driving up the curvy road looking at all the pretty mansions, picnics in the meadow, and drinking hot chocolate after sledding down Dog Hill. I have also attended the Cherokee Triangle Art Fair every year of my adult life and found it to be one event I look forward to most in my year. The 2.4 mile loop is tucked comfortably in a little area known as the Highlands, an area of Louisville known for its artistic culture, positive vibe, upscale and eccentric restaurants and shops, and historic buildings and homes.
